Snail Games announces launch date for the highly anticipated Age of Wushu

Snail Games has announced that their highly anticipated MMOPRG Age of Wushu will be release for download in North America on the 10th of April 2013, with a box version to come out later in the month.

Age of Wushu is set in ancient China and offers players the experience of 2000 years of Wuxia traditions. You will have to learn to master the ancient arts of Wushu and channel your inner strength to truly fulfil your hero’s destiny.

Does anyone else think this guy(?) is in Kung-Fu Panda cosplay?

The content generation lead at Snail Games, Tyler Rawlins has said:

"Age of Wushu brings an authentic presentation of Chinese martial arts to devoted players, and with its innovative combat, cultivation and offline play, the game creates a unique martial-arts experience. The beta has been a great way to connect with the player community and introduce a real world of Wushu to the Western audience. We received and incorporated an abundance of player feedback during beta and can now announce an official launch date for Age of Wushu."

The game is already a massive hit in China having already got more than 10 million registered players, and the company is thrilled to bring the game to North America. If you’d like to read a little more about the game click here.

So you've got one of those little desk zen garden things with the rake and the sand? Nice...

The game is Rated Mature for blood, sexual themes, strong language, use of alcohol (Drunken Kung-Fu perhaps?) and violence. Please visit the ESRB for more information, but that all sounds pretty cool to me.

A lot of the staff here at Gamersaurs are big into MMOs, but which ones do you play and why? Who knows, maybe we’ve seen you out there.
