Farm 51 and Nordic Games have collaborated on what might just be one of the coolest games I’ve ever seen, Deadfall Adventures. This is only the announcement and release of the cinematic trailer though, one doesn’t want to get one’s hopes up to high.
Deadfall Adventures is set in 1938 and you play as the less that enthusiastic but talented, great-grandson of Alan Quatermain, James, who is charged with escorting former colleague and US agent Jennifer Goodwin to Egypt to help her locate a precious gem in one of the tombs. While there, with the help of some zombies, James quickly learns that perhaps his crazy old great-grandfather wasn’t as crazy as everyone suspected.

From there it won't be long before you and Jennifer are jet setting across the globe in search of the Heart of Atlantis with Nazis hot on your heels. Deadfall Adventures is an FPS but also incorporates exploration and puzzle solving to bring a detailed and well rounded gaming experience to what might be Nordic Games most ambitious game to date. I really hope they pull it off because so far it looks awesome.
Klemens Kreuzer, Managing Director at Nordic Games stated that:
“Deadfall Adventures marries the ethos of the Saturday morning matinee with the Summer blockbuster to create an original adventure which will grip players from start to finish. We’re putting players into the heart of the action, just as they’d dreamed as children, staring at their heroes on the silver screen. It’s fantastic to be working on Deadfall Adventures with The Farm 51 from the roots up; it’s going to be an exciting summer.”
Wojciech Pazdur, Development Director at The Farm 51 has also commented:
“We’re thrilled to be working on our second project alongside Nordic Games. We’re putting everything into the games’ stunning graphics to create a unique experience that will be both challenging and engaging. The great thing about Deadfall Adventures, it makes us discover the little Indiana Jones in all of us.”

Powered by the Unreal Engine 3, and will be coming out July 30th 2013 on Windows PCs and Xbox 360. You can stay up to date by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
