This set of games is set to take place November 16th til November 18th 2012, and applications are being accepted up until October 31st 2012. As before, all donations made to tributes will be donated to Child’s Play Charities. Child’s Play donates new video games to terminally ill children who are hospitalized. This charity tries its best to make young children suffering great struggles against illness feel just a little more normal by giving them the gift of gaming.
Enter the world of Panem
As for the games themselves, yours truly participated in July’s games and I can tell you it was a blast. From abusive mentors, to role play partners who have now become really great friends I was honored to participate in this event, and I have already turned in my application to participate in the November event. Several others have already stated they would be returning as well. The goal this time is to get all twenty four spots for tributes filled up!
A game for all levels of role player
Even if you’re new to role playing, this event can really teach you the nuances of such. Headed up by knowledgeable DM’s or Mentors as they called themselves, I really felt thrust into the world of Panem and it was a truly emotional weekend event. Alliances will be made, friendships put to the test as you and other youths reaped for the games are pitted against each other and the elements. Even with donations from your district, you may not last if someone has your number…
Can you survive the reaping?
The winner of the summer games was Miss Cecily Bell, while not originally a favorite to win (Her brother Dar Bell was in higher favor) She took the games by staying true to herself and helping others. Though she suffered the loss of her fellow tributes the player behind the character Kitty O'Neil said it was an exhilarating experience. So if you can donate your time for three days of full on RPG for a good cause I say sign up here! Turn in your application and hope your name is reaped. We are looking for a huge turn out this time!

But if you cannot join up perhaps considering sponsoring a tribute you know or even a favorite district all proceeds once again go to Child’s Play Charities. And all donations go to the RP factors in the game, love district 12 (A favorite due to the Hunger games Movies) Support them by sending a donation for their district. Have a friend or family member participating in the event? Show your support by donating. PayPal is an excepted method of donation. Audio from the first games is also archived, so you can tune into the fun and see the journey we tributes took. All in all this is a fun event that I would recommend to anyone.
