Winter is coming to Dragons Prophet, are you ready?

Sony Online Entertainment just released its first major Dragon's Prophet Open Beta content update! Game Update OB 0.2 is now available for all beta players and features Auratia's seventh zone, Wintertide, an area covered in perpetual frost that's guaranteed to keep the hottest dragons cool this summer.

Plagued by war, Wintertide has been in a constant state of combat since the Second Dragon War five hundred years ago. "Red Flame" Methus, instigator of the First and Second Dragon Wars, once ruled this war-ravaged continent, and even after his death, Methus' combative nature has continued to influence the people of this land. Through continuous war and dragon plagues, Wintertide has now become the largest dragon graveyard in Auratia.

Along with the Wintertide zone, Dragon's Prophet's latest Open Beta update will feature:

  • Adventure & Crafting level cap increased to 70
  • 4 new dungeons, including a new legendary dungeon
  • 12 new public quests
  • Dragon Chamber to store up to 96 additional dragons
  • Secret Apartment to upgrade apartments into a portal to a secret floating island
  • Modified housing pricing
  • Class balance & skill changes
  • UI refinements
  • Tons of bug fixes

Don't know what Dragons Prophet is about?

Developed by Runewaker Entertainment, creators of Runes of Magic, Dragon's Prophet is currently in open beta. Dragon's Prophet features an action-based combat system that gives players battle action gameplay. Set in a realm where dragons roam the land, sea and air, the game lets players align and battle a variety of dragons as they work to restore order to the land from the evil Black Dragon that has escaped his eternal prison, and is more dangerous than ever. You can see what Alice from the Gamersaurs team thought about the early beta here.
