EVE Online announces its 19th expansion: Odyssey, which will launch on June 4th, 2013.

EVE Online's nineteenth free expansion, Odyssey, will offer new tools for exploring the stars, and new challenges for those willing to find them. So, what is included?

A new discovery scanner is a re-working of the scanning tools already available to those who enjoy exploring. It will contain new visuals, new customizable controls, and new functionality.

Machines of War have always needed to evolve and be replaced. This is no different in New Eden, ships will be re-balanced and there might be a few new ships available. There is rumor about the ever-elusive Society of Conscious Thought releasing their Gnosis battlecruiser.

A New Spacescape will emerge in which multiple areas of space will be rebalanced, along with modules and resources.

The Little Things will improve. All of those little papercuts will be fixed that increase the quality of life for everyone.

The Storyline Will Continue: It started with Sansha live events in 2010, and those live events grew into the recent Battle for Caldari Prime. They'll continue on from there.

That last bit I will write more about another time. I was there. It was real.
