Blitwise Productions announces that the Android and iPhone 5 versions of Pocket Tanks is getting an upgrade and some shiny new weapon packs.

For those who don’t know Pocket Tanks is an easy going classic heavy artillery game, which puts you on the field of battle with a fun arsenal of weapons. These weapons can be used to deal out the damage, modify terrain, increase your defences and even hide from enemy fire.

Blitwise Productions has launched two new weapons packs for the Android version of Pocket Tanks. The first is a Plasma weapon pack which is free to download if you’ve already got the Deluxe game. This comes with five new weapons including the Plasma Orb, which fires an electrifyingly colourful attack.

The second is the Energy weapons pack which will cost you 99c but unlocks fifteen new weapons to wreak havoc on your enemies with, it including: Black Forest to confuse your enemies and Energy Spike to shock them.

I LOVE THE SMELL OF PIXELS IN THE MORNING!

Along with the weapons packs is an upgrade with some tweaks and bug fixes. If you’d like to check it out just click here.

So are you Android, iPhone, Samsung, Blackberry, HTC? I’m sure there are more but I can’t think of them, but let us know what your mobile device is.
